Conference Theme Improving Economic Development by Applying best Practices of Global Business and Information Technology Addressing Global Economic Crisis Through the Eyes of International Experts: Government Officials, Business Leaders and Academics Conference Aim: The main aim of the Confernce is bringing together academicians, researchers, government officials and business leaders from all over the world to identify and apply best global business and information technology practices to improve economy development. The other aim of the Conference is to come up with a long term strategic approach to addressing the global economic crisis in today’s global market. The Conference will include workshops, tutorials, networking sessions, exhibitions, trade transactions, key-note speeches, paper presentations, panel discussions and tour of industries and places (Proton Automobile, etc.). The startegic approach to addressing the global economic cristis will be disseminated to interested governments, businesses and academics. The International Experts will help implement the strategic approach. Submitted papers will be double blind peer reviewed. Accepted papers will be published in the CD conference proceedings. He is no stranger to PROTON (manufacturer of national car),having served as Managing Director of Perusahaan Otomobil Nasional Sdn Bhd from 1993 to 1996 and was Deputy Managing Director of the company from 2 November 1992. He has also held various senior positions in Edaran Otomobil Nasional Bhd, including as Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer. Dato’ Nadzmi is a director of several companies in Malaysia including Ranhill Utilities Bhd, JT International Bhd, VS Industry Bhd, Kumpulan Kenderaan
Malaysian Bhd, Syarikat Kenderaan Melayu Kelantan. He was also appointed as Director and Deputy Chairman of Proton Edar Sdn Bhd .
|  | Dato’Sri Tony Fernandez is the CEO of AirAsia, a leading low fare airline. He was the Group Chief Executive Officer of the Company in December 2001. He is also a member of the Employee Share Option Scheme Committee of the Board and he also served earlier as a member of the Audit Committee for the from 14 May, 2007 to 10 September, 2007. Prior to joining the Company, he was a Financial Controller at Virgin Communications London from 1987 to 1989, Senior Financial Analyst at Warner Music International London from 1989 to 1992, Managing Director at Warner Music Malaysia from 1992 to 1996, Regional Managing Director of ASEAN from August 1996 to December 1999 and Vice President of ASEAN from December 1999 to July 2001 at Warner Music South East Asia. He was actively involved in developing the Malaysian music industry and was also the recipient of the "Recording Industry Person of the Year 1997" by the Recording Industry Association of Malaysia. In addition, he received the International Herald Tribune award for the Visionaries & Leadership Series in 2003 for his outstanding achievement with AirAsia, and was named "Malaysia CEO of the Year 2003" by American Express and the Business Times. He was named the "Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year Malaysia 2003" at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2004 and was one of Business Week's 25 Stars of Asia for 2004. In 2008, he received the commendation of Prestige award from Macau Special Administrative Region in 2008 and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales which is the largest professional accountancy body in Europe.

Wagner is with the Industrial and Systems Engineering Department at Oakland University, Rochester, Michigan, USA; he has been with the University as a professor for over 20 years. Dr. Wagner has a BS and MS in Computer Science, and a PhD in Educational Psychology. Dr. Wagner has consulted for a large set of industrial customers including DaimlerChrysler, Ford, Eaton Automotive, GM/EDS, Pulte Homes, UTA Automotive among many others. He has published many papers in conference proceedings and journals. He has written three books. He is a fellow of Global Strategic Management Inc.
